- Also, TAKE OUT your white sheet from FRIDAY -- DAY 2: VERB BOOT CAMP!
- Let's keep going on the DAY 2 sheet:
- How do verbs change in Spanish?
- A: Figure out the _action word: Write or underline the verb!
- T: Figure out the _tense_ : Past, Present, or Future tense.
- This year, we’re going to be talking about Present tense ONLY, but there are other tenses you will learn in later Spanish classes!
- T: _Take _ _off_ the _ending _ : Remember, the three different kinds of endings of the infinitive verbs in Spanish are _AR _._ ER and _IR
- The part of the verb left over when you take off its ending is called the stem of the verb!
- A: __Add __ on the correct ending for that tense and the person you’re talking about!
- C: __Conjugate__ the verb!
- then, K: Write your sentence w/ words you __KNOW__!
